Beseech the gods! Inspired by Fritz Grafs article "Rolling the Dice for an Answer" (2005), this app attempts to simulate Astragolomancy, or the art of divinitation through the use of astragaloi (knucklebones), an ancient form of oracular fortune telling practiced in ancient Greece. Each of the dice (or in this case, knucklebones) is worth 1, 3, 4, or 6 points. Five dice are rolled at a time and the resulting combination of values corresponds to one of 56 possible oracular sayings. Simply tap or drag across the screen to roll the bones and await your response from the oracle!
